The magic of a nocturnal forest can only be highlighted by a blaze of Auroras.

We will take you out at the prime time of Auroras, as they are said to be visible most likely between 21:00 and midnight. For sure you have been wondering what the Auroras are and how come they are visible only in the north. Tonight, you will get the answers to all these questions! We will search several locations, but if it is a clear day at our open landscape sighting location, you have the best possibilities to see the Auroras! Hot beverages and small sweet snack is served.

Total program is 4h. 3h is the actual time of the excursion.

    Please note

      Pick-up transfers & durations

      All our safaris include pick-up service from Rovaniemi city center, Santa Claus Village, Arctic Treehouse Hotel and Ounasvaara area. From the safari-house we shuttle to our snowmobile site or depart for the excursion.

      The mentioned duration of the safari is the actual time of the excursion + 90-120 minutes, as we transfer and give you all necessary clothing and equipment.

      Pick-ups start 60 minutes before departure.

      Practical information:

      All daily departures are available throughout the winter season, December to March, or due to prevailing weather and snow conditions. Daily Departures are operated for min 2 persons paying the adult fare (2 persons / snowmobile). Private excursions are available for min 8 persons (adult fare 2 persons / snowmobile).       You will always be kitted with proper winter gear: thermal overall, boots, woollen socks, balaclavas and gloves or mittens for our safaris and excursions. Your own jacket and shoes remain at the safari house during the tour.

      Arctic Lifestyle reserves the right to change the price, program, inclusions and duration of each excursion, due to weather conditions and unexpected occurrences.

      What to bring

        Casual clothing. We provide you with weather appropriate clothing at our Safari Center.
