Pick-up transfers & durations
All our safaris include pick-up service from Rovaniemi city center, Santa Claus Village and Ounasvaara. From hotels and accommodations in and around Rovaniemi city center, the guests are asked to walk to our safari house. From the safari-house we shuttle to our snowmobile site or depart for the excursion.
The mentioned duration of the safari is the actual time of the excursion. The total duration is app. 60-90 minutes longer than the mentioned duration, as we transfer and equip you. The exact time for pick-ups will be advised at the time of booking.
Practical information:
All on request are available throughout the winter season, 1.12.2023 – 31.3.2024, or due to prevailing weather and snow conditions.
NB! At reindeer and husky farms, the clients share the slots with other guests also on private reservations.
Two-hour husky safari Meet the Huskies, Premium Combo, Snowmobiles and Huskies Galore, Meet the Reindeer and Highlights of your Arctic Journey are available on a fully private basis for min.10 adults (husky) and min. 8 adults (reindeer).
You will always be kitted with proper winter gear: thermal overall, boots, woollen socks, balaclavas and gloves or mittens for our safaris and excursions. Your own jacket and shoes remain at the safari house during the tour.
Arctic Lifestyle reserves the right to change the price, program, inclusions and duration of each excursion, due to weather conditions and unexpected occurrences.
