The Experience

Your day begins with a comfortable journey in one of our brand-new 2025 luxury 4×4 vans, as we drive around 105 km from Rovaniemi into the wilderness of Korouoma National Park.

Once there, your guide will lead you on a scenic 4–6 km hike through snowy forests and into the canyon. Along the way, you’ll encounter towering frozen waterfalls — giant walls of ice and glittering icicles that make Korouoma world-famous. The silence of the Arctic wilderness, broken only by the crunch of snow underfoot, makes this a truly magical trek.

Midway, we pause for a wilderness break. Gather around the fire, enjoy hot drinks, and savor grilled sausages — a true Lapland tradition — while surrounded by the canyon’s frozen beauty.

This tour requires moderate fitness, as winter conditions can make the trail more challenging. It is not recommended for children under 8 years old.
